Gisha the Treasured ~غيشا~

from Anthology Vol 1 by Ephemeral Ballads

lyrics

An eternity ago I was born into this world
An abnormality of crumbled time
Trapped inside of a golden lamp
Waiting to be woken from this sleep

Over and over again I was subject to selfish desires
Each were more grotesque than the last
“Money and fame” is what they say
Their eyes were shining brighter than gold

Endless wishes and eternal greed
Passing me all around
Bound in my prison and used for gain
How can I escape this fate?

A wealthy life is a happy one
People to cater to you
On this ship I am the captain
So could you all.. FETCH ME MORE GOLD!

Then I was discovered by lowly pirates
The lamp seemed just like useless junk
But on the captain’s orders I was caught
Brought back to the ship to meet my fate...

Endless wishes and eternal greed
Passing me all around
Bound in my prison and used for gain
How can I escape this fate?

Through the storm there had to be some light
A path to sail on to salvation
If I use this man’s wealthy disposition
Then maybe I can escape to freedom!

This….this lamp! I have been searching after hearing the legend from the stories of the Siren!
I just rub it here and ...uuuOOOOAAAWAA

What is your wish?

I wish for… Money!
Gold and money!
MONEY!
Gold and money!

For that he paid the price
That oh so heavy price
Too heavy for his ego

The gold poured down
Raining from the sky onto his boat, the riches wouldn’t stop
After long the boat started to sink but he was too indulged with his hail of gold

Sinking ship
(Money!)

Too much gold
(Gold and money!)

Freedom!
(MONEY!)

Too much gold
(Gold and money!)
